"In 1994 I began working on Willow Hill Farm in Keeseville, New York, a 550 acre farm with 250 horses. There I began giving lessons and training horses. A year later I became a professional Junior rider. I rode 15 horses a day and trained young and top show horses. At Wolfstone Stable and Sales in West Palm Beach, Florida, I became show manager where I was responsible for training horses and managing all competitive shows. I traveled throughout Europe with the United States Equestrian Team where I was responsible for the care of 3 top show horses. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work and train with some of the country’s best equestrian trainers; David Oliynyk, a top Junior and Grand Prix rider; Schuyler Riley, a top international World Cup rider; and Mark Jungher, another top Grand Prix rider. Most recently I worked as head trainer at a farm in Southern Mass. where I was responsible for all lessons, training and programs for over 34 horses on the farm.
I have many Championship wins and ribbons to my credit at some of the top horse shows in the world. I have had wins at the Adult Invitational Jumper Class in Tampa, Florida, earned Reserve Champion for New England Jumpers, and won the Jumper Classic at the Deerfield Fair two years in a row. I have also ribbon'd at the Massachusetts and New England Equitation Finals, was Champion at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida; and have received ribbons at the Kentucky Horse Park.
I take pride in teaching young children, junior and adult riders for pleasure and for competition. I have the experience and patience to teach the beginning and timid rider and have the competitive drive to guide the experienced rider to achieve their goals. I insist on a high level of care for horses. I believe I am lucky, I get to do what I love because I love what I do!"
